The department of gastroenterology provides a comprehensive range of gastroenterology services for the patients with all types of gastrointestinal, hepatobi I iary and pancreatic diseases. In addition to providing a general gastroenterology clinic, the department conducts a number of subspecialty clinics addressing specific needs, and provides a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal service that includes an open-access facility for local practitioners to refer patients for both upper gastroenterology endoscopy and colonoscopy. The department is equipped with optic instrument from Japan. It also provides advanced diagnostic and invasive therapeutic endoscopy facilities. A D.M. Gastroenterologist is available facilitating gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy, endoscopy and all other gastroenterology and abdominal related problems.
